Can you hold my hand for a while ?
Research, Performance & Stage Creation — Ongoing
Can you hold my hand for a while? is a solo performance that explores the histories of bodies entangled with the worlds of knowledge and medicine in Europe, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Drawing on iconographic archives and critical texts, I invite you to enter history through stories of bodies. From Susini’s Anatomical Venus to Vesalius’s dissected arm, I seek to reclaim these images and narratives — with both seriousness and humour — by proposing new arrangements: stitching rather than cutting. At the crossroads of anatomical study, documentary restitution and performance, the work brings together movement, speech and song.
